21st July Best and Worst Section

Worst Section(s):

Trumpet: Bad intonation, bad articulation, bad pitching, Unprepared.

Tuba: bad articulation, tuning within section is rather bad also

Best Section:

NO BEST SECTION (for Lin sheng and I), Flute (for Mr Adrian Chiang)

would like to praise Flute section for doing a nicer and neater job for this week practice. Hope you all get a better and neater things out for Suite on Celtic.

BEST and WORST Sections of the pract!! ^^

Combination of 2 weeks practices (7th and 14th July)

So it is time to Reward these Sections for their Wonderful or "OMG HEAVENLY" playing for the practice.

After the collation of the results from Lin Sheng, Mr Chiang and I, below is the results. before that.........

Let me tell you all the FORFEIT/PUNISHMENTS for getting the most time of WORST SECTION. The worst section will some "INTERESTING" performance for the concert and also we will arrange special sectional with your section.

WORST SECTION:

We have 2 sections for these 2 practs.

TUBA and TRUMPET.

Trumpet got improvement but we need more and better things from you all but thank you for that little bit of improvement today.

Flute section!! Jia you! It is the time to get back your "CROWN" of best section! ^^

Look out for Percussion and Trombone... ^^. I will not let my percussion to be always behind you all... I think Caveat also wun let trombone to fall behind u all for too long. ^^

OH YA... the section with the MIGHTY ONE also catching up.. although they got some sticky and slurry tonguing/articulation from SOME MEMBERS (hoho... hahaha.... COMBO FREAKS!) but it seems that they are catching up!! MUST STOP THEM!!!

Best and Worst Section of the Practice

Dear All Alumni Band members,

From this coming practice onwards, we will be having a BEST section and WORST section of the practice award.

Whichever section that has continuously reigned (or most of the time) the "WORST section" title, will need to face some "Punishments". ^^

So please work hard if you do not want to do the "Punishments". ^^

Lin Sheng, Mr Chiang and I will determine the results of the BEST & WORST section after every practice.

Results will be announced at the end of EVERY PRACTICE.
